As Billy Napier prepares his team to face Georgia on Saturday, the Florida head coach knows the Bulldogs will be without one of the best talents in college football.

Brock Bowers will miss the game as he recovers from ankle surgery, which is a huge blow for Georgia’s offense.

“This is one of the best players of all time,” Napier said in his press conference Monday. “He made them really hard to defend.”

But just because Georgia is missing Bowers, that doesn’t mean the Bulldogs don’t have other pieces on offense that can hurt opposing defenses.

“They’re not lacking skill players,” Napier said.

Georgia still has plenty of options on offense, and Florida’s defense will need to be prepared for all of them the same way it would be prepared for Bowers.

“This is one of those games as a competitor you look forward to being a part of,” Napier said. “It’s going to require our best.”

On the defensive side, Florida will have a big challenge against the Bulldogs’ dominant defense. The Gators have been clicking on offense recently, but they haven’t faced a defense like Georgia’s yet.

“They force you to earn everything,” Napier said.
