CJ Felder made his return to the Florida basketball team Tuesday after a weeks-long hiatus for personal reasons. He has been away from the Gators program since early January and has missed the past 8 games.

Felder will not start for the Gators, but could potentially provide some frontcourt depth as the back half of SEC ramps up should he make a return to the court in the coming weeks. He did start 8 games for the Gators earlier in the season before seeing his role decrease as SEC play started.

As seen above, Felder is expected to travel with the team to Alabama Wednesday (thought not expected to play), the No. 1 team in the SEC standings.

The Gators have a lot of ground to make up for a good spot in the SEC Tournament, and remain firmly on the wrong side of bubble with a 13-10 record. Florida is currently 6-4 in the SEC and would be a 6-seed in the tournament.

The Gators face off against Alabama in Tuscaloosa at  9 p.m. EST.
