Dan Mullen called out on social media after Florida’s sluggish first half vs. Vanderbilt
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Dan Mullen took a lot of heat from fans after last week’s loss at Kentucky. His play-calling, clock management, facial expressions and postgame comments were all the subjects of scrutiny during the game and in the immediate aftermath of the loss.
At halftime of this week’s game at The Swamp against a bad Vanderbilt team, Florida holds a lead. However, that’s still not enough to make Mullen popular with fans.
Yes, Florida holds a 21-0 halftime advantage over Vanderbilt, but fans still aren’t happy.
Below, you can see how many people took to Twitter to question what Mullen was doing during the first half:

I honestly have questions on what is going on in practice with Dan Mullen and company. Because, it looks like I'm coaching this team #Gators

Can someone tell Dan Mullen that gootball is a line of scrimmage game? Gators are not winning the LOS on either side vs Vandy…..

Florida is just simply not that good, defense is soft, offensive play calling is soft, and once again defense is SOFT
All falls on Dan Mullen’s recruiting for me

This team has been painfully undisciplined, and that has a lot to do with Dan Mullen.

Why are Dan Mullen teams so undisciplined

Not sure if Dan Mullen just doesn’t have the players he wants, if they aren’t up to speed with his system yet or what but his team is UGLY on offense this year. Doesn’t matter if it’s AR15 or Emory

You can see it in the way we are playing that we have kinda give up. It all goes back to Dan mullen and the coaches. I've been his biggest fan but he has severely hurt himself the last 3 weeks. It's just flat out terrible coaching and I understand we're young and will be better

Will the Gators start to pour it on in the second half? Fans will be watching and waiting to see if Florida starts to look like one of the better SEC teams again.
