All and all, Florida appears to be in great shape this spring when it comes to the health of its football team.

That was the message delivered by Dan Mullen during his introductory spring press conference on Monday. According to Florida’s head coach, the only players not expected to compete in some capacity this spring in Gainesville would be defensive end Jeremiah Moon, offensive lineman Griffin McDowell and defensive tackle Marlon Dunlap. All three players are in the process of rehabbing injuries.

“Moon, McDowell and Dunlap would be the probably the three that would be doubtful to get back in the spring,” Mullen said when discussing his team’s health entering the spring. “Everybody else should be, might be limited here or there, but those guys are doubtful to get back this spring.”

If you look around the SEC, that’s not a bad injury report to offer up at this time of the season. Based on what Mullen had to say regarding those three players, it’s safe to assume all would be available looking ahead to the fall, which is far more important than having them during the spring.
