Dan Mullen is firmly on the hot seat for the Florida Gators.

And, he’s not helping himself with the first half his team is having against a mediocre FCS squad in Samford on Saturday afternoon.

Midway through the second quarter, Samford led the Gators 35-28 at The Swamp. That’s not a typo. That’s the sort of day it has been for the Gators.

Late in the second quarter, the Bulldogs had extended their lead to 42-28.

Let’s just say plenty of fans don’t think Mullen should even be allowed out of the halftime locker room. Here’s some of the ire Mullen is drawing on Twitter:

Even if Florida eventually wins this game, it’s not going to do much to help Mullen’s standing in Gainesville. Big changes could be coming soon.
