Dan Mullen is wasting no time on the recruiting trail as Florida’s new head coach.

One of Mullen’s biggest priorities is keeping Florida’s highly-rated recruiting class together.

Interestingly, Mullen and Florida offered Mississippi State WR commit Stephen Guidry. Guidry attends Hinds Community College, and he’s listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds. He’s rated as the nation’s top JUCO WR, as well as the nation’s No. 2 overall JUCO player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Guidry released the news via his Twitter account:

Of course, MSU fans won’t be happy about that, but in the cutthroat world of college football recruiting, this happens all the time.

It will be interesting to see where Guidry eventually winds up, because he’s certainly a talented receiver. He committed to MSU in September after previously being an LSU commit.
