Florida quarterback Emory Jones was sensational for the No. 10 Gators in last week’s 38-14 win over Tennessee.

The 6-2, 211-pound junior passed for 209 yards and rushed for 144 against the Volunteers en route to being named the SEC’s Offensive Player of the Week.

Sophomore Anthony Richardson, who brings a different kind of explosiveness to the QB position, was sidelined with a hamstring injury for the second consecutive week and missed the Tennessee game.

The 6-4, 236-pounder from Gainesville will be back for Florida’s game at unbeaten Kentucky on Saturday.

“He’s ready to go. 100% ready to go,” said Gators coach Dan Mullen of Richardson during Wednesday’s SEC coaches teleconference. “As the season goes, one of the things is you want to try to be as healthy as you can. … We’re excited to have him back and ready to go play. He’s a dynamic player.”

Richardson has completed 6-of-11 passes for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while adding 11 carries for 275 yards and 2 TDs on the ground.
