The Florida Gators are preparing to take on Michigan in the Peach Bowl, and they don’t currently know what they’ll do at the quarterback position.

Starter Feleipe Franks figures to continue in that role, but it remains to be seen how Emory Jones fares in the Gators’ plans.

On Friday, coach Dan Mullen also said that backup Kyle Trask, who almost won the starting job earlier this season before injuring his foot, could be back in time for the big game:

Having Trask available to play would be huge, as it would allow the Gators to preserve Jones’s redshirt in the event Franks gets hurt.

However, Trask isn’t officially back just yet, so we’ll have to see how he progresses moving forward.
