Dan Mullen is working on preparations for Georgia this week as the Gators are off ahead of the annual game in Jacksonville.

Mullen on the SEC coaches media teleconference was asked if Emory Jones was still the starter, and how he plans to manage Jones with Anthony Richardson.

“We’re really fortunate we have 2 really good quarterbacks here. … I see us continuing down that path,” Mullen said. “Like everything, we’ll evaluate everything we do. Just like at every spot on the field. … We’ve got experience and we’re fortunate to have the 2 guys who are talented on the field.”

Jones and Richardson each played last week in the 49-42 loss at LSU. Jones was 12-for-19 passing for 161 yards, with a touchdown and 2 interceptions. He also had 16 rushing yards on 10 carries. Richardson, meanwhile, was 10-for-19 passing for 167 yards with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Mullen also said he hasn’t made any defensive staff changes.
