Heading into the South Carolina game, Florida had four significant injuries.

During the week, QB Kyle Trask had to be carted off in practice. Some had expected Trask to be named the game’s starting quarterback. On Monday, Mullen revealed during his weekly press conference with the local media that Trask has a fracture in his foot. The redshirt sophomore quarterback is out for the Idaho and Florida State games, but Mullen said it is possible that Trask could play in the bowl game. The Gators are 7-3 and have secured bowl eligibility.

Three contributing Gators were also late scratches Saturday before kickoff. Mullen updated the status on those players. WR Freddie Swain is dealing with a sprained ankle and should be back. OL Brett Heggie is also dealing with an ankle sprain, but is questionable. DB Brad Stewart has a quad strain and is considered day-to-day.

Florida faces Idaho for its home finale Saturday at noon ET. The game will air on ESPNU.
