Florida may get its top pass rushers back this week at South Carolina, but coach Dan Mullen didn’t reveal the news yet on Monday.

The coach at his regular Monday press conference said Jon Greenard and Jabari Zuniga would be game-time decisions for the Gators. Greenard left early in the LSU game with a right ankle sprain, and Zuniga was limited after he’s been out since the Kentucky game where he also had a high ankle sprain.

Greenard is the Gators’ second-leading tackler and leader in sacks with 4. He has 6.5 tackles for losses, which also leads the team. Zuniga, who has played in just 4 games, is second on the team with 3 sacks.

With them out, Florida gave up 218 rushing yards to Florida, including 144 in the first half.

Greenard suffered his injury on the first series of the game, and later attempted to put weight on the ankle on the sidelines, but didn’t return.

Greenard, who went into the injury tent, was visibly upset about the injury, and sat with a towel on his head at the end of the bench. Several players and defensive coordinator Todd Grantham went over to wish him well.

Florida travels to South Carolina for a noon game on ESPN on Saturday.
