Deuce Spurlock, former Michigan LB, announces SEC commitment

Deuce Spurlock is heading back south after a season at Michigan. The Madison, Alabama native will be continuing his college football career at Florida.
Spurlock announced his pledge to the Gators Sunday on social media.

As a Class of 2022 prospect, Spurlock was rated 3-stars, the No. 41 Alabama product, No. 91 linebacker and No. 995 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite. He signed with Michigan over scholarship offers from 26 other schools, including Auburn and Mississippi State.
As a freshman, Spurlock played in 2 games for the Wolverines. He logged 3 tackles in U-M’s win over Hawaii and shared Shared Defensive Freshman of the Game team honors. Spurlock’s Michigan bio notes he was named Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week for helping the Wolverine offense prepare for Colorado State and Michigan State.
Spurlock joins DL Caleb Banks (Louisville), DL Cam’Ron Jackson (Memphis) and LB Teradja Mitchell (Ohio State) as Florida’s defensive additions from the transfer portal.
