Third down has been a nightmare for the Florida Gators.

Georgia is currently 8-of-10 on third down, and Florida can’t get off the field on the money down.

One call in particular caught the ire of Florida fans during the Bulldogs latest drive. On 3rd and 6, Jake Fromm threw a pass to receiver Lawrence Cager, who caught it falling to the ground. The officials called it a catch, but they reviewed it.

On the slow motion replay, it appears the ball touches the ground and actually aids Cager in catching the football. Instead, the officials confirmed the ruling on the field.

The reception led to a Georgia first down and eventually led to a touchdown. The score gave Georgia a 10-0 lead.
