Florida fans booed former Feleipe Franks in his return to The Swamp, but it was all love after the game as Gators players and coaches reunited with the former UF quarterback.

The official Twitter account of Florida football called Franks “Gator family,” sharing photos of hugs with Dan Mullen and Kyle Trask.

As you can see in the photo and video below, they were just two of the many Gators who took time to talk to Franks after Saturday night’s game.

Franks was an impressive 15-of-19 passing for 250 yards and 2 touchdowns but was outshined by his 2016 classmate, Kyle Trask. The Florida redshirt senior boosted his Heisman Trophy campaign with an eye-popping 6 TD passes, going 23-of-259 for 356 yards in the Gators’ 63-35 win over Franks’ Arkansas Razorbacks.

Franks signed with UF in 2016, redshirting his first year on campus. He played in 28 games for the Gators over 3 seasons (2017-19) before departing as a graduate transfer.
