Florida is preparing for Year 1 under coach Billy Napier, having wrapped up the spring practice session with a scrimmage on Thursday night.

At the same time, the Gators still have their eyes on next year’s recruiting class, and on Sunday, they added an in-state receiver to the 2023 class.

As you can see below, Tyree Patterson of Eustis, Florida, took to Twitter to reveal he was committing to Napier’s program:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Patterson is the No. 128 wide receiver in the 2023 class and the No. 123 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

The Gators now have 2 players in their 2023 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 58 in the nation and No. 13 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
