After much debate, 2018 4-star WR Jacob Copeland ultimately decided to commit to the Florida Gators.

Copeland, a Florida native, was considering the Gators, Alabama and Florida State, but decided that heading to Gainesville was the right choice for him.

According to 247Sports, Copeland confirmed his commitment on Wednesday night:

“Yeah I’m committed to Florida,” Copeland said. “Florida’s always been my dream school and the coaches are doing big things in the 2018 class. I want to be a part of that.”

According to the 247Sports composite, Copeland is the No. 9 wide receiver in the class of 2018 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

The Gators now have 16 players in their 2018 class, which is currently ranked No. 4 in the SEC and No. 13 nationally.
