Miami Christian School OG Jovens Janvier announced he has pledged to the Florida Gators for 2020, announcing the news on his Twitter account. It sounds like he wishes he could suit up on August 24 in Orlando when the Gators take on his hometown Miami Hurricanes.

“I would like for Florida to get that national championship one more time,” Janvier told Blake Alderman of 247Sports. “I think Florida is going to be undefeated. I want Florida to smash the University of Miami; I want Florida to beat the dog out of them.”

Janvier, who pledged after camping at UF Friday, is listed at 6-3, 350 pounds. The 247Sports Composite ranks him a 3-star prospect, the No. 42 offensive guard, No. 96 Florida product and No. 743 recruit overall nationally. He has 11 scholarship offers, including LSU and Nebraska.

The Gators now have 13 commitments in their 2020 class which ranks No. 4 in the SEC and No. 6 nationally on the Composite.
