Florida and No. 4 Florida State will play in front of a packed house on Nov. 25. UF announced Thursday that the Gators’ regular-season finale against arch-rival FSU is sold out.

The Gators and Seminoles’ postseason outlooks could not be further apart heading into Week 12. Billy Napier’s Florida squad is 5-5, needing to win at least 1 of its final 2 games against No. 9 Mizzou and No. 4 FSU. Mike Norvell has the Noles looking at a return to the College Football Playoff with a 10-0 record through Week 11.

UF had a 3-game winning streak in the rival from 2018-to-2021, with no game in 2020 due to COVID. FSU snapped that streak last season in Tallahassee, going on to win 10 games with a bowl victory. The momentum seems to have carried over for the Noles.

Florida has won the last 2 games against FSU in The Swamp. UF debuted blue end zones for the 2019 game, a 40-17 Florida route. Last time the game was played in Gainesville, interim coach Greg Knox got the best of Norvell’s Noles. Both teams were battling for bowl eligibility, and the Gators came out on top 24-21.

The Week 13 game is set for 7 p.m. ET. It will air on ESPN.
