The start of the 2021 season is almost here. By Saturday, there will be thousands of fans packing The Swamp for the beginning of a new year for Florida.
The Gators open the season with a non-conference matchup against Florida Atlantic. And considering that Florida is entering the year as the No. 13 team in the country, per the AP Top 25 poll, it has a strong chance to begin the season in a positive way.
On Tuesday, the Gators announced their uniform combination for the opener. Although they’re playing at home, they’re going to look a bit different than usual, as they’ve decided to go with an all-white look for their matchup with the Owls:

Florida is 3-0 in its history against Florida Atlantic, winning each of the previous meetings between the two programs in 2007, 2011 and 2015, all of which also took place in Gainesville. The Gators will be heavily favored to win again and to open the 2021 season 1-0.
Florida and Florida Atlantic are set to kick off on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
