Florida athletics captures 250th SEC team championship
In the SEC, some schools are known as “football schools” or “basketball schools.” Florida fans claim UF as an “everything school.” On Sunday, the Gators boosted that reputation by becoming the first program with 250 SEC team championships.
Title No. 250 was won by the No. 1-ranked men’s tennis team. UF tennis took down No. 22 Kentucky to win the regular-season conference championship.

At the beginning of the month, numerous Florida programs were ranked in the Top 25. We’ll see if any of those Gator teams make it 251 SEC championships this spring.
