Another Louisiana player has reportedly decided to enter the transfer portal following Billy Napier’s departure for Florida.

According to On3’s Matt Zenitz, 2nd-year freshman Emani Bailey has entered the portal, the latest Ragin’ Cajun to do so. He is the 4th Louisiana player in the last 4 days to enter the portal.

As a true freshman in 2020, Bailey had 10 carries for 60 yards in 5 games. His role grew in 2021 as he totaled 642 yards and 8 touchdowns on 102 attempts. He also made 15 caters for 103 yards.

The Ragin’ Cajuns saw 2 players enter the portal on Sunday, offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence and safety Mekhi Williams-Garner. On Wednesday, running back Montrell Jordan entered the transfer portal as well.

They joined safety Kobe Hylton, who is now at UTEP, and offensive tackle Kamryn Waites, who has reunited with Napier in Gainesville.
