Florida fans, media members call out blatant missed calls in first half of Georgia game
Florida trails Georgia 13-3 at the end of the first half. Many Gators and media members are wondering if the score might be closer if not for some missed calls. Two big issues being raised by the UF camp: missed holds by the UGA offensive line on Florida defensive linemen (particularly Adam Shuler) and the inexplicable “call stands” decision on the replay review of Lawrence Cager’s catch.
Here’s a sample of what people are saying on social media:
Shuler has been getting held the ENTIRE game

Did the refs misplace their flags? I mean Adam Shuler is being held closer than my son held on to his snickers bar on Halloween.

Adam Shuler is being held every play. It's blatant. Not being called.

Shuler being held….. No call

Watch Shuler #88 on defense. Pads are basically coming off he’s getting held so bad. Florida offense can’t keep them off the field either. Lots of bad for the Gators

Shuler just held again on that pass rush. So blatant hands outside the pads

That’s an inexcusable replay call.

I’m loathe to blame officials. It’s a tough job. But that replay review was bullshit.

Why even have replays if you don't overturn that?
