Florida is bolstering its future offensive line at the expense of Arkansas.

The Gators received a commitment from an offensive lineman who committed to the Razorbacks a month ago, under the previous coaching staff.

Pensacola, Fla. native Noah Banks, who was recently named a junior college All-American, tweeted Tuesday that he was “coming home” with a picture of him wearing a Florida uniform and plans to sign on Wednesday morning. Banks previously played for Iowa Western Community College, and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

He’s listed at 6-foot-8, 315 pounds. When he committed to Arkansas, Banks had offers from Missouri, Iowa State and Middle Tennessee. He had 10 offers overall, including one from Auburn.

He previously tweeted that he’d “never thought I’d see myself headed to the SEC.”

Banks is a 3-star prospect according to the 247 Sports Composite. He’s the third offensive tackle recruit in the current Florida class.

Banks reportedly committed to Troy out of high school, but ended up at Murray State, where he started nine of 10 games as a redshirt freshman before transferring to Iowa Western.
