Just because Florida State and Florida don’t have winning records coming into their matchup Saturday doesn’t mean that this game doesn’t mean anything to the 2 teams or its fans.
Ahead of their matchup Saturday, the Gators and Noles got a little chippy before kickoff as 2 Gator players Jacob Copeland and Khris Bogle, got face-to-face with a Noles player as they were both leaving the field.
Here are some videos from the incident.

You can’t tell well here, but there were some pregame, uh, festivities between #Gators and #FSU pic.twitter.com/d4kuWOlpW1

The last time the Gators and Noles faced each other, the Gators won in dominating fashion, 40-17 in 2019. Last year the pair didn’t get a chance to play because of COVID-19 restrictions but it appears both teams are ready today.
A win by the Gators or Noles will make them bowl eligible, a loss by either team means the end of the season.
Gators and Noles kickoff at 12 pm ET on ESPN.
