Another Florida defender is reportedly looking at leaving the program.

Matt Zenitz of AL.com was first to report that Gators defensive back Chester Kimbrough has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. His report has since been confirmed by multiple outlets covering the Gator beat.

Entering the transfer portal does not bound a player to leave the program but allows them to be recruited by other teams. On Monday, UF linebacker Jesiah Pierre placed his name in the portal. Players can withdraw from the portal and return to the team.

Kimbrough appeared in 17 games over the last two seasons. He recorded 15 total tackles and 3 passes defended.

From New Orleans, the Warren Easton product was rated 3-stars, the No. 19 recruit in Louisiana, No. 45 cornerback and No. 452 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2019 on the 247Sports Composite. He chose UF over 22 other offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri and Ole Miss.
