Florida reschedules non-conference game that was set to be played in 2020

Florida has just finalized its 2022 football schedule by rescheduling an opponent the Gators were set to host in 2020.
Eastern Washington, which is ironically Jim McElwain’s alma mater, was scheduled to travel to Gainesville last fall. Of course, that didn’t happen after the Southeastern Conference shifted to a 10-game, all-conference schedule last fall.
Instead, Eastern Washington will now make the trip to Gainesville on Oct. 1, 2022, according to FBSchedules.
Adding Eastern Washington to the team’s schedule finalizes the 2022 slate for the Gators.
Florida’s 2022 football schedule
- vs. Utah on Sept. 3
- vs. USF on Sept. 17
- vs. Eastern Washington on Oct. 1
- at Florida State on Nov. 26
