Florida misses out on JUCO OT, stays with Oklahoma State
The Florida Gators were only in on one JUCO prospect for this year’s JUCO National Signing Day and it didn’t end well for the orange and blue.
JUCO prospect and offensive tackle Brandon Pertile stayed with his original commitment to Oklahoma State, choosing the Cowboys during a signing ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-6, 301-pound lineman officially visited Florida last weekend and was considered to be a probable flip to the Gators.

Pertile’s decision to stay with Oklahoma State certainly is a blow to Florida’s offensive line depth. The Gators are expected to be very thin along the offensive line next year with several seniors departing as well as Tyler Moore declaring early for the NFL Draft.
Currently, Florida has only eight commits in its 2015 recruiting class.
