As for the rest of the Gators’ 2025 schedule, Florida will face Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas at home, with the annual rivalry game against Georgia being played in Jacksonville.
The Gators’ road slate next fall includes trips to Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.
The rest of the non-conference schedule besides the newly reported opener against LIU-Brooklyn includes games against South Florida, Miami and the annual rivalry game against Florida State.
Speaking of that annual end-of-the-season battle with FSU, Billy Napier’s current resurgent team will take on the Seminoles on Saturday night in Tallahassee. Florida is coming off back-to-back home upsets of LSU and Ole Miss to get to 6-5, and the Gators will look to get to 7 wins for the first time in the Napier era when they face the 2-9 Seminoles.
UF and FSU will kick off the latest installment of the storied rivalry at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, with the Gators hoping to keep their sudden momentum going to end the regular season.
Well, Hump? Cojo?
They probably got an early start to their holiday weekend and are ignoring us.
All yours my man.
Hump is messaging Neil Blackmon nitpicking about Lagway’s stats
Lmao!! He’s also searching for stats on why Lagway isn’t special, because that absolutely makes a difference to Lagway and Gator fans.
The Gators tried to work out a deal to schedule Little Sisters of the Poor, but were told they have a ten-year waiting list of P4 programs that want to play them. They already have Mizzou to represent the SEC on their schedule over the next five years!
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be Careful..LSOP has a great D-line and the QB..Sister Tebowette is very talented!
Long Island University-Brooklyn? Heck, I have never heard of them and would not have guessed they even had a football team.
LIUB doesn’t actually have a football team. See above post from StL, re: Little Sisters of the Poor. The game will be played against a group of Nuns in drag since they needed a quick payday.
Or, in the spirit of the times, will it be a bunch of trannies dressed up as nuns? One can never tell for sure these days.
Stl, you and docgator should stick to comments about gator football like I do.
I really try leeland, but this one was just too tempting.
To heck with temptations, I’m just an old man and sometimes my mind wanders. At least my dogs still love me. I think so anyway, but the fact that my wife has to tie a pork chop around my neck to get them to play with me is a little disturbing.
Listen to leeland he knows but doc can claim a mulligan
This will be one of the hottest tickets in the nation. College Game Day will be in town for sure. The Game of the Century!!!!!
I’m curious what the story is here, I’m guessing that FAMU backed out? Maybe now that the Gators are playing well they decided that they don’t want to play them?
Don’t know for sure, but I do remember when FAMU was a force to be reckoned with. Like Grambling though, been a long time ago by now.
