Florida has made a slight change to its football schedule in 2025, multiple sources told Swamp247.

The Gators will face Long Island University-Brooklyn to begin next season. Florida will no longer play Florida A&M, according to a source who spoke to Swamp247 on the condition of anonymity.

As for the rest of the Gators’ 2025 schedule, Florida will face Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas at home, with the annual rivalry game against Georgia being played in Jacksonville.

The Gators’ road slate next fall includes trips to Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

The rest of the non-conference schedule besides the newly reported opener against LIU-Brooklyn includes games against South Florida, Miami and the annual rivalry game against Florida State.

Speaking of that annual end-of-the-season battle with FSU, Billy Napier’s current resurgent team will take on the Seminoles on Saturday night in Tallahassee. Florida is coming off back-to-back home upsets of LSU and Ole Miss to get to 6-5, and the Gators will look to get to 7 wins for the first time in the Napier era when they face the 2-9 Seminoles.

UF and FSU will kick off the latest installment of the storied rivalry at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, with the Gators hoping to keep their sudden momentum going to end the regular season.
