Florida fans are rallying behind Todd Golden’s team, and will produce the program’s 3rd-straight sellout crowd on Saturday against Georgia.

The Florida ticket office said it’s the 3rd advance sellout for the Gators in SEC play this season and the 3rd consecutive weekend sellout. A limited number of obstructed-view seats remain for walk-up purchases starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday ahead of the noon tipoff. The Gators are looking for their 3rd straight win.

Georgia is 14-5 overall and 4-2 in the SEC. A Gator victory would mark the program’s second 3-game SEC win streak under Golden dating back to last year.

The Gators on Wednesday knocked off Mississippi State, 79-70, and last weekend beat Missouri. Florida is trying to get back in the SEC race after a 1-3 start and now it’s won its last 2 games by an average margin of 10.5 points.

Junior guard Will Richard scored 23 points against State, grabbed 9 rebounds, 2 steals and blocked a pair of shots to lead the Gators (13-6, 3-3) to their third in their last 4 SEC games.

Florida got key free throws down the stretch to hold off State after the Gators build a 17-point lead in the second half.
