Florida made the top 5 for 3-star defensive lineman Jayden Jackson.

Jackson, who attends IMG Academy, announced his top 5 early Wednesday morning. In addition to the Gators, he’s also still considering Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas and Miami.

He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 300 pounds. Prior to transferring to IMG Academy, Jackson played for Brownsburg High School in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Jackson would be a big-time addition for Florida if the Gators are able to earn his commitment. Jackson is currently ranked as the No. 651 overall player and the No. 61 defensive lineman for the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Penn State, Tennessee, Auburn and Arkansas are amongst the programs who have offered Jackson but did not crack his list of finalists.

Florida is off to a strong start in the class of 2024. The Gators currently have commitments from 7 prospects in that cycle. Overall, the group ranks No. 13 nationally per 247Sports Composite rankings.
