Dan Mullen and his staff have had a busy week adding to Florida’s 2021 recruiting class. On Sunday, Jordan Young became the third defensive back to commit to the Gators in 4 days.

A Tampa native, Young is listed at 6-feet, 185 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 29 cornerback, No. 63 recruit in Florida and No. 381 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021 on the 247Sports Composite. He currently has 26 scholarship offers, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, Miami, Ole Miss and South Carolina.

Young announced his UF pledge via a live video streamed on his Instagram page.

Young is commitment No. 20 for UF’s 2021 class. All three recent Gator pledges have been defensive backs. 3-star S Dakota Mitchell committed to Florida on Thursday with 4-star CB Kamar Wilcoxson flipping from Tennessee on Friday.
