Florida QB Kyle Trask has already set a career-high in touchdown passes
Florida’s program record touchdown passes in a game is 7. The good news is that Kyle Trask has thrown a career high 5, and the better news is that he’s going to have to keep throwing because Florida’s defense keeps giving up yards and points. He may have a chance to break the record before the Florida-Ole Miss game is over.
With over 11 minutes left in the third quarter, Trask has connected on 21-of-29 for 329 yards and 5 touchdowns. Pass catchers Kyle Pitts (3), Kadarius Toney and Trevon Grimes have all caught touchdowns.
Trask is already garnering some Heisman Trophy hype after his 4-touchdown first-half performance.
The Gators lead Ole Miss 35-21 with 11 minutes left in the third quarter.
