Florida QB Luke Del Rio fires back at FOX Sports analyst Clay Travis

On Friday, FOX Sports analyst Clay Travis said on his radio show that the Florida Gators are dodging the LSU Tigers by canceling this weekend’s game due to Hurricane Matthew concerns:
Scared of losing and falling in the standings, Florida is using #HurricaneMatthew to dodge LSU.

Travis said, “Right now, it seems self-evident to anybody, I think, with a functional brain, that Florida is trying to use the hurricane as an excuse to try to advance their own opportunities to win the SEC East by playing one less game against a top opponent, and that’s a shame.”
Florida QB Luke Del Rio didn’t take too kindly to Travis’ opinion, calling out the analyst via Twitter:
This is hilariously incorrect and very insensitive to those being affected by this Hurricane @ClayTravis https://t.co/GLklHF4DOx

Travis’ solution? Play the game on Sunday or Monday. It seems to be too late for that, though.
But, as Del Rio points out, Hurricane Matthew is already wreaking havoc in Florida and that’s where everyone’s thoughts should be at the moment.
