Another Florida player is off to the NFL.

Redshirt junior running back Jordan Scarlett has declared for the 2019 NFL Draft, as he announced Wednesday with a post on Instagram. You can also view his message to Gator Nation below.

Scarlett split time almost evenly with fellow running back Lamical Perine, carrying 126 times for 731 yards and four touchdowns. He added another 84 yards on 10 catches this season as Florida reached 10 games and beat Michigan in the Peach Bowl.

Scarlett concludes his college career with 335 rushes for 1,787 yards and 11 scores.

His announcement came less than an hour after Florida junior linebacker Vosean Joseph revealed that he’s also forgoing his final season of eligibility to enter the NFL draft. Other Gators doing the same are safety Chauncey Garnder-Johnson, defensive end Jachai Polite and offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor.
