Florida has been active in the transfer portal this offseason, particularly when it comes to adding depth to the defensive line.

On Monday, the Gators added a third defensive lineman via the portal. It’s also the second lineman they’ve added from Auburn this offseason.

Per Nick de la Torre of Rivals.com, the Gators have landed former Auburn starting DL Tyrone Truesdell to their roster. Florida’s online roster had Truesdell listed as of Monday.

He joins fellow former Auburn DL Daquan Newkirk on the Gators this fall.

Truesdell played in 10 games for the Tigers in 2020, recording 22 tackles (including 2.5 for a loss). In 4 years at Auburn, he had 67 total tackles.
