Florida has quite the budget for off-the-field assistants under new head coach Billy Napier, something he reportedly specifically requested before taking the Gators’ job.

Well, they’re putting that money to good use. On Wednesday, the reportedly added a staffer from Miami to the mix.

Per Thomas Goldkamp of 247Sports, this new off-field assistant, Benedict Hyppolite, is a key recruiter in the talent-rich South Florida area:

Per the 247Sports report, Hyppolite is expected to be a quality control analyst on Napier’s staff:

Sources have informed Swamp247 reporter Blake Alderman that Florida is expected to pull Benedict Hyppolite away from Miami to serve as a quality control analyst working with the running backs. The Gators previously had Corey Bell serving in that role, but Bell left this offseason for an on-the-field coaching job working with cornerbacks and serving as recruiting coordinator at FIU.

Hyppolite took a spot on Miami’s staff back in 2020 as a graduate assistant.
