Florida had a somewhat disappointing first season under new men’s basketball coach Todd Golden, failing to make the NCAA Tournament field.
Per On3 Sports, forward CJ Felder will explore his transfer options ahead of the 2023-24 season after spending 2 years with the Gators.
On3 Sports broke the news on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, with Felder joining a couple of other Gators in the NCAA transfer portal:

Felder transferred to Florida from Boston College ahead of the 2021-22 season and has seen his production drop each year. In 15 games (including 8 starts) this past season, Felder averaged 2.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per contest.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it seems his time in Gainesville is coming to an end.
Florida players in the portal
Felder is the fourth Gator to enter the portal this offseason, joining Kowacie Reeves and Niels Lane, who were the first to enter. Big man Jason Jitoboh also entered his name into the portal.
Felder will likely draw some interest in the portal from teams that need a veteran backup post player. Meanwhile, Golden will have some spots to fill on his Florida roster ahead of his second year in Gainesville. We’ll see who comes to Florida this offseason.
