Florida is looking for its second straight win this season, and a huge step toward the SEC Championship with a big performance against Georgia on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.

For the contest, the Gators will wear orange helmets, white jerseys and blue pants in the game.

In the unofficial SEC East title game, the winner is widely believed to be an overwhelming favorite to meet Alabama in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game, and both sides understand that. The winning team has advanced to the league’s title game 10 times in the last 14 years.

It appears to be a matchup between Georgia’s strong defense, though limited by several injuries, against Florida’s high-flying offense. But the struggles by Georgia’s offense and Florida’s defense could well decide it, too.

The Gators are averaging 42 points a game thanks to QB Kyle Trask, versatile speedster Kadarius Toney and star TE Kyle Pitts. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are yielding 16.2 points a game and has been one of the best defenses in America, with the only blemish being a 41-24 loss to No. 2 Alabama.

Georgia, though, could be without as many as four defensive starters. Star safety Richard LeCounte (motorcycle accident) and DL Julian Rochester (knee) are out. Safety Lewis Cine and defensive tackle Jordan Davis also are hobbled by injuries.
