Heading into the 2020 season, Florida TE Kyle Pitts is considered by many to be the best tight end in the country.

Some mock drafts have Pitts as a Round 1 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and with the numbers he put up last year (649 yards and 5 touchdowns), it’s easy to see why.

Florida TE coach Tim Brewster raved about Pitts during a press conference on Wednesday, saying he loves Pitts’ toughness and versatility:

Pitts put up the numbers mentioned above in an offense that featured WR Van Jefferson — a Round 2 2020 NFL Draft pick — and other talented receivers.

Without those guys around, Pitts will likely have an even bigger role in the Gator offense this fall.
