New uniforms and/or helmets have been trendy in college football for the 2021 season and now Florida is joining the party.

On Monday, the Gators teased the new white helmets that they will perhaps wear on Saturday, a design that features an updated master stripe:

Also noteworthy, according to the Twitter handle “Gators Uniform Tracker,” is that the  master stripe is now painted on the helmets, which is a first for the program.

Additionally, according to the tweet that unveiled the new look, “This also means, unless additional white helmets are purchased or the helmets are conditioned, we won’t be seeing the 1960s throwback helmets from 2019 again.”
