The Florida Gators host the Towson Tigers Saturday at The Swamp.
Towson enters with a 3-1 record, while Florida enters 4-0 and ranked ninth in the country.
This is an important game for Florida because it’s sandwiched between two SEC teams: Tennessee and Auburn. The SEC has already announced that CBS Sports will broadcast the Auburn game, and it’s likely that ESPN’s College GameDay will be on hand next week, too.
So, naturally, Dan Mullen and the Gators are guarding against any kind of letdown against Towson.
Earlier this week, Towson head coach Rob Ambrose called Florida one of the best teams he’s ever seen on film.
“This is one of the best football teams I have ever seen on film. These guys will challenge for the College Football Playoff. They’re really, really good.”
Thursday night, Florida revealed its uniform combination for Saturday — orange helmets, orange jerseys and white pants. Gators defensive back Shawn Davis was featured in the uniform reveal.
