Fruhmorgen, a product of Plant High School, was rated the No. 8 offensive tackle and No. 20 Florida prospect of the 2015 class by the 247Sports Composite. He played in 11 games as a freshman in 2015 and started eight games last season for the national champion Tigers. Fruhmorgen would have to sit out the 2017 at an FBS school such as Florida, and would have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
The Gators recently signed a pair of 4-star offensive tackles, Kadeem Telfort and T.J. Moore in their 2017 recruiting class.
