The Jacksonville Jaguars have made waves this week by signing former Florida QB Tim Tebow to play tight end.

Some people love the move. A lot of others hate it. Count former ESPN host and personality Mike Golic among the latter group.

As you can see below, Golic didn’t hold back ripping coach Urban Meyer for the signing, questioning whether Tebow can block or catch after 8 years of not playing football:

He also referenced Meyer’s ill-fated hiring of former Iowa strength coach Chris Doyle, who was embroiled in controversy while with the Hawkeyes.

Doyle’s tenure in Jacksonville lasted only a single day. Will Meyer’s tenure be a success or a failure? It seems Golic thinks Meyer is heading down the wrong path early in his first NFL stint.
