When the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers meet up on Monday Night Football this week, a key matchup will feature former Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves III against former Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin.

Hargreaves, Tampa Bay’s 2016 first-round pick, recalled facing Benjamin in college a couple of seasons ago:

“Extremely tough — the first touchdown I gave up was from him on me, last game of the season,” Hargreaves said. “He’s a great competitor, likes to win, likes to play hard and same thing for me. I’m excited to see him again, to get after him on a bigger stage. Monday night, it doesn’t get better than that.”

Stopping Benjamin in the red zone will be important for Hargreaves and the Bucs. The former Seminole already has four touchdown receptions in 2016.

Hargreaves, on the other hand, is still searching for his first NFL interception.
