The Jacksonville Jaguars have frequently looked to the Florida Gators for early draft picks. Not all those picks have worked out, but their most recent Gator selection is off to a good start.

Making his NFL debut, CJ Henderson nabbed the first interception of his career, picking off veteran quarterback Phillip Rivers, now with the Indianapolis Colts.

Henderson declared early for the NFL Draft after his junior season. Jacksonville selected the All-SEC cornerback with the No. 9 pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Henderson’s family, including Florida freshman wide receiver Xzavier Henderson, were on hand in Jacksonville.
