Former Florida DT lands new NFL opportunity with Seattle Seahawks

Former Florida DT Antonio Valentino is getting another NFL opportunity. The Seattle Seahawks announced the signing of Valentino on Monday afternoon.

Valentino ended his college career at Florida after 4 seasons at Penn State. After the 2022 NFL Draft, Valentino signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. The Giants waived Valentino in the spring.

As a graduate transfer with the Gators, Valentino played in 12 games (8 starts), recording 23 tackles, including 3 for loss in the 2021 season. In his Penn State career, Valentino appeared in 40 games, logging 51 tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss and 6 sacks.
