After two-plus seasons at Florida, Mount Holly, New Jersey native Iverson Clement will continue his college football career closer to home.

Clement shared Friday on Twitter that he will be transferring to Temple.

A former 4-star recruit out of Mount Holly, N.J. in the class of 2018, Clement was rated as the No. 7 player in New Jersey while being classified as an athlete after seeing time at multiple positions in high school.

Clement saw limited playing time in three years at Florida, primarily contributing on special. As a redshirt sophomore in 2020, he had five carries for 29 yards, with two of those carries coming late in the Kentucky game, his final appearance with the Gators. On the game’s final play, he was tripped up near the goal line.

In 2019 he appeared in six contests as a reserve running back and special teams contributor, totaling 48 rushing yards on three carries. He redshirted in 2018, appearing in two games (Charleston Southern, Idaho) as a reserve running back and special teams contributor. He totaled four carries for 17 yards that season and recorded his first career rushing attempt against Charleston Southern in the season opener.
