Lerentee McCray hasn’t played college football since 2012. But it’s clear that the 31-year-old is still as passionate about the sport as ever. Especially when it comes to the Florida-Georgia rivalry.

McCray, who played for the Gators from 2008-12, appears to be hyped up for the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party game, which is set for Saturday at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville. The current Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end had some trash talk for the Bulldogs when speaking this week to reporters, including Mia O’Brien of First Coast News.

“We hate Georgia because they’re too close to our backyard, and they just always stink, man. Bulldogs just stink,” McCray told reporters. “Like nobody likes supporting Bulldogs. All they do is fart and just poop everywhere.”

McCray was nowhere near done at that point. He then went on a spirited rant against Georgia, one that included much more about actual football.

“This year, I’m trying to get a bet. They No. 1 in the nation, but nobody wants to give me points. Like I was giving points away every time, because that’s a part of being the No. 1 team in the nation, right?” McCray said. “When you’re the No. 1 team in the nation and you’re playing against an underprivileged opponent, you’ve got to give them points. That’s part of being No. 1, you know what I’m saying? Georgia, they don’t know how to do that because they don’t know what it feels like to be No. 1. They ain’t never even seen a national championship in how many years?

“I ain’t played football in college in like 8, 9 years, you know what I mean? And I still know what it feels like to win a national championship. They still don’t know. Since their childhood they don’t know what it feels like. So it doesn’t even matter if they win, they’ve got to win a natty. Win a natty, that’s what they need to do. Y’all No. 1, so win the natty. We don’t want to hear it. Yeah, you may beat Florida, we’re down. But win the natty, then you can prove your point, whatever. All of y’all Georgia Bulldogs, win the natty. Y’all ain’t won a national championship in over 40 years, 50 years. Y’all talking too much. They’re going to get you a cocktail and sit down.”

McCray’s facts were true. It has been 41 years since Georgia won its last national title during the 1980 season, and he does know what it feels like to win a national championship, which he did as a true freshman at Florida in 2008.

However, the Bulldogs are heavy favorites against the Gators on Saturday, so it’s possible that McCray will be on the losing side. That is, unless Florida can find a way to pull off an upset and notch its biggest win of the season.

Florida and Georgia are set to kick off on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
