Former Florida standout Jawaan Taylor will not participate in NFL Combine due to injury
Projected first-round pick Jawaan Taylor will not participate in the NFL Combine drills this week in Indianapolis.
NFL teams received the notice Monday morning, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Taylor is suffering from a hamstring injury and was advised by Dr. James Andrews to not perform activities.
This is unlikely to affect his Draft stock, but still, missing performing against other linemen and in front of so many scouts and evaluators isn’t great. Taylor hopefully will be able to perform at Florida’s Pro Day.
The former Florida tackle is projected to be drafted in the top 15 picks, and he has a big future ahead.
