Former Florida WR Chris Thompson has a new football home.
Thompson played four years at Florida, and he just signed a free agent deal with the Houston Texans. The team announced the transaction Tuesday.
Thompson played primarily as a kick returner in 2016, and he totaled 13 kick returns on the season, a team-high, for 283 yards. During his four-year career, he played multiple positions, and he only recorded nine catches for 78 yards in four seasons with the Gators.
